Job Summary

Locating Desk Technician is a full-time position responsible for screening state 811 dig tickets and providing customer support via phone and email, while ensuring the protection of underground fiber lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and record emergency and non-emergency calls and emails
  • Prioritize and address problems and requests, providing solutions as needed
  • Dispatch Fiber Locators and coordinate with fiber location companies and utilities
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience reading and comprehending maps
  • Willingness to work any shift based on Eastern Standard Time (EST)
  • Experience in telecommunications, dispatch, or utility locating preferred
  • Customer service experience
