Lock Desk Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Lock Desk in a full-time remote capacity, the Lock Desk Analyst will process rate lock, change, and extension requests while ensuring adherence to rate lock policies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Process rate lock, change, reprice, and extension requests in Encompass while communicating effectively with requestors
• Assist Loan Officers with post-lock file inquiries and collaborate with Secondary Marketing leadership on system changes and process enhancements
• Provide real-time training and support within Secondary Marketing and assist with system, product, and procedural inquiries

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of mortgage lending experience or relevant coursework, preferred
• Experience with Optimal Blue and Encompass systems, preferred
• Background in Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
