Log Management Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as the primary domain authority for Log Management solutions, the full-time remote Log Management Specialist will drive the adoption of Dynatrace's Grail data lakehouse, partner with sales teams to demonstrate value, and lead Proof of Concepts to optimize customer log management strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for Log Management, staying updated on industry trends and articulating the advantages of Dynatrace Grail
• Collaborate with sales teams to execute strategies that displace legacy log tools and build economic value models for customers
• Architect log ingestion frameworks and provide technical guidance to enhance log data volume and user adoption

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Log Management or Big Data analytics, with at least 3 years in a specialist or pre-sales role
• Advanced proficiency in Query Languages such as Splunk SPL, Kusto QL, SQL, or Lucene
• Deep understanding of log ingestion pipelines and cloud logging ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash
