Log Management Specialist
Job Summary
Acting as the primary domain authority for Log Management solutions, the full-time remote Log Management Specialist will drive adoption and consumption of Dynatrace's innovative offerings while collaborating with sales teams to demonstrate value and optimize customer transitions from legacy tools.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Log Management, staying updated on industry trends and articulating the advantages of Dynatrace Grail
- Partner with sales teams to execute strategies for displacing legacy log tools and lead Proof of Concepts that demonstrate ROI
- Architect resilient log ingestion frameworks and provide technical guidance to enhance log data volume and user adoption
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in a specialist, pre-sales, professional services, or SRE role, with at least 3 years focused on Log Management or Big Data analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Query Languages (e.g., Splunk SPL, Kusto QL, SQL, or Lucene)
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP logging ecosystems and automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Serverless logging patterns
