Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating and tracking all patient and manufacturing material shipments, the full-time Logistics Coordinator will manage logistics operations across the cell and gene therapy supply chain while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international transportation bookings for patient and product shipments, ensuring compliance with manufacturing schedules
- Monitor and track shipments from pickup to delivery, addressing any delays or issues that arise
- Serve as the primary communication point for shipment status updates among internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Experience in cell and gene therapy, biopharmaceutical, clinical trial, or healthcare logistics
- Knowledge of chain of custody and chain of identity requirements
- Familiarity with cryogenic and temperature-controlled transportation
- Experience managing international shipments and customs documentation
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or logistics control tower operations
