Logistics & Freight Forwarding Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of international health logistics operations, the full-time Logistics & Freight Forwarding Consultant will enhance end-to-end visibility, efficiency, and risk management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Freight Forwarder (3PL) model and optimize current processes
• Coordinate with Freight Forwarders and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and project materials
• Strengthen claims management processes and enhance tracking, visibility, and KPI monitoring frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, shipping, or a related field
• 7-10+ years of experience in international logistics/supply chain, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean
• Proven expertise in freight forwarding, end-to-end transport management, and logistics documentation
• Experience with claims management related to loss, damage, and delays in transportation
• Very good knowledge of English or Spanish, with working knowledge of the other language; knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is a plus
