Job Summary
Supporting the FAA Voice Switch and Recorder Program Office, the full-time Logistics Planning Lead will manage vendor supply chain risks, analyze obsolescence issues, and apply lifecycle logistics knowledge to enhance acquisition and sustainment activities in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and track vendor LRU/component supply chain risks, including time and cost
- Review and recommend improvements to vendor Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage (DMSMS) plans and deliverables
- Analyze vendor and FAA equipment components approaching obsolescence and plan for lifecycle sustainment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of relevant logistics and system life cycle management experience
- Familiarity with Lifecycle Logistics from the perspective of a Client Program Office
- Experience conducting technical reviews of vendor logistics-related plans and reports
- Experience in system logistics elements, including maintenance planning and obsolescence planning
- Knowledge of Global Component Libraries (GCL's) for electrical parts management
