Job Summary
Managing a regional logistics project portfolio, the full-time Lead Logistics Project Manager will oversee outbound global logistics functions, coordinate with stakeholders for timely deliveries, and develop strategies to optimize transportation costs in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and execute outbound logistics functions while monitoring purchase orders and coordinating with buyers, vendors, and carriers
- Act as the primary customer contact for project logistics, overseeing project plans and freight estimates
- Identify and implement cost-effective transportation solutions and maintain shipment schedules and status reports for key stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, project management, or supply chain functions
- International logistics experience, including transportation and customs knowledge
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently in a matrixed environment
- Advanced proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus
