Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as the Subject Matter Expert on logistics strategies, the full-time temporary Logistics Specialist V will support project management and supply chain operations while collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective logistics plans in Houston, TX.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for major capital projects, ensuring effective transportation of equipment and materials
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and oversee port operations and transportation safety
• Oversee physical materials management activities, including warehousing and turnover of materials at project completion

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management; 8-10 years preferred
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Deep knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation
• Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with light travel requirements
