Job Summary
Supporting the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Department, the full-time remote Logistics Diminishing Supplies Specialist will manage integrated logistics support, supply chain expertise, and lifecycle logistics to ensure fleet readiness for the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) programs.
Key responsibilities
- Review DoD ILS data and track diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS)
- Maintain spreadsheets and databases for vendor data, lead times, and required quantities for lifetime buys
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to analyze and manage entries into the ships' Allowance Parts Listings (APL)
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of DoD systems lifecycle logistics support experience or 5+ years of relevant logistics support in lieu of a degree
- Experience reviewing Bills of Materials (BOM) and Allowance Parts Listings (APL) for diminishing supplies analysis
- Knowledge of DoD ILS, provisioning, supply chain management, and configuration management processes
- Ability to communicate lifecycle data and track logistics requirements across teams
- Must possess a current or active Secret Security Clearance
