Logistics Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Providing expertise on the ALMSS System, the full-time Logistics Subject Matter Expert will collaborate with C# developers to modernize a legacy Supply Chain Management solution for the United States Air Force, while ensuring compliance with logistics operations and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the ALMSS System, guiding the modernization of logistics software
• Collaborate with software developers to enhance the Supply Chain Management solution supporting USAF weapon systems
• Advise government customers during meetings regarding logistics system functionalities and external interface requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Current or prior experience with the ALMSS system
• Familiarity with DLMS schemas and DoD supply system acronyms
• Experience with Integrated Logistics System-Supply processes and USAF spare parts procurement methodologies
