Logistics Support Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as a liaison for the Transportation Operations team, the full-time Logistics Support Specialist will manage outbound load processes, resolve delivery issues, and maintain performance metrics while working remotely from Omaha, NE.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Dollar General TMS as the official record for all outbound loads and manage modifications or cancellations
• Correspond with DG Supervisors and planners to ensure site-level KPIs are met and provide feedback on site performance
• Audit on-time delivery results and communicate with stores to resolve discrepancies in reported results

Required qualifications

• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS)
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Prior experience in a logistics or transportation role preferred
