Job Summary

A company is looking for a Logistics Underwriter to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate insurance applications to determine acceptance or decline based on underwriting guidelines
• Document underwriting files, including risk analysis and pricing justification, and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to process applications efficiently and provide client recommendations to mitigate risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 3 years of Logistics or Transportation underwriting experience required
• Professional certifications such as CPCU, CIC, or CRIS are a plus
• Experience with various coverages including GL, Workers Comp, and Inland Marine
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
