Long Haul Deployment Project Manager

Job Summary

To support the management of turnkey construction contracts, the full-time Long Haul Deployment Project Manager will work remotely, preferably within the Central and Eastern Time Zones, overseeing project compliance, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and managing budgets and schedules to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate OSP construction contracts while ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Monitor project activities for compliance with contractual obligations and manage change orders, assessing impacts to budget and schedule
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and contractors to address issues and manage disputes effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of seven years in the telecommunications industry with experience in project management and outside plant construction
• At least five years of contract and capital management experience, preferably with long haul OSP projects
• Familiarity with OSP construction methods, standards, and fiber specifications
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to read and interpret construction documents
