Long Haul Fiber Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Long Haul Fiber Test & Acceptance Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate OSP construction contracts while ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Monitor project activities and manage schedules, budgets, and regulatory issues to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, manage disputes, and provide regular project updates to key customers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7 years in the telecommunications industry with experience in project management and fiber optics
• Knowledge of fiber optic cable splicing and testing, and familiarity with OSP construction methods
• Minimum of 5 years of contract and capital management experience, preferably with Long Haul OSP projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents is required
