Long Term Care Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Long Term Care Model Development Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage model changes during the quarterly cycle, including research, testing, validation, and documentation
• Provide support to production teams by diagnosing and resolving modeling issues
• Facilitate annual ALM model updates and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline
• FSA or Career ASA with at least 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in LTC products
• Strong proficiency in actuarial modeling, particularly with AXIS software
• Demonstrated leadership ability and teamwork skills
• Programming experience in languages such as SQL, Visual Basic, SAS, Python, or MATLAB
