Long-Term Disability Claims Advisor

Job Summary

To support individuals through challenging times, the full-time remote Long-Term Disability Claims Advisor will independently manage a caseload of claims, conducting interviews and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver fair and timely claim decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims from intake through resolution
• Conduct interviews with claimants and review medical documentation to support claim evaluations
• Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations in line with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly aligned with the specific responsibilities for this role
• Experience in reviewing complex medical records
• Ability to collaborate with clinical and vocational experts
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
