Job Summary

Managing a workload of Long-Term Disability claims, the full-time salaried Long-Term Disability Claims Advocate will conduct interviews with claimants, review medical records, and make ethical claim determinations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicating with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather information regarding claims
  • Collaborating with case managers and consulting physicians to ensure timely and ethical claim decisions
  • Reviewing complex medical records and utilizing resources for effective claim management
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED, or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience
  • 3-5 years of claims experience directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role, or 0-1 year for candidates with an Associate degree
  • Experience with disability and/or absence management is a plus
