Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate and driven Long-Term Disability Claims Examiner, this full-time remote position will manage a caseload of claims, conducting interviews and collaborating with medical professionals to deliver fair and timely claim decisions.

Key responsibilities
  • Independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims from intake through resolution
  • Conduct interviews with claimants and review medical documentation to support informed claim evaluations
  • Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards
Required qualifications
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly aligned with the specific responsibilities for this role
  • Experience in collaborating with clinical and vocational experts
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in reviewing complex medical records and utilizing various tools for claim evaluations
