Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate and driven Long-Term Disability Claims Examiner, this full-time remote position will independently manage a caseload of LTD claims from intake through resolution, collaborating with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to deliver fair and timely claim decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims, gathering and assessing information related to disability status
• Conduct interviews with claimants and review medical documentation to support informed claim evaluations
• Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Required qualifications:

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly aligned with the role's responsibilities
• Experience with complex medical records and claim evaluations
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including case managers and medical professionals
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
