Long-Term Disability Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking driven and compassionate candidates, the full-time Long-Term Disability Claims Examiner will independently manage a caseload of LTD claims remotely, conducting interviews, reviewing medical documentation, and delivering timely claim determinations while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims from intake through resolution
• Conduct interviews with claimants and review medical documentation to support claim evaluations
• Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations in line with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly aligned with the specific responsibilities for this role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task
