Job Summary

A company is looking for a Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of moderately complex claims, including pending, ongoing, and appeal reviews
• Provide timely and accurate claims reviews and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Communicate proactively with claimants and stakeholders to gather essential information and provide updates

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of LTD/IDI Insurance Claims experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with independent judgment and decision-making
• Ability to analyze information and demonstrate critical thinking
• Proficient in calculating benefits and addressing escalated customer complaints
