Job Summary
A company is looking for a Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of moderately complex claims, including pending, ongoing, and appeal reviews
- Provide timely and accurate claims reviews and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Communicate proactively with claimants and stakeholders to gather essential information and provide updates
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of LTD/IDI Insurance Claims experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with independent judgment and decision-making
- Ability to analyze information and demonstrate critical thinking
- Proficient in calculating benefits and addressing escalated customer complaints
