Job Summary

A company is looking for a Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a workload of Long-Term Disability claims independently, conducting interviews and reviewing medical records
  • Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather necessary information for claims
  • Collaborate with case managers and physicians to make timely and ethical claim determinations
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED, or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience
  • 3-5 years of claims experience directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role, or 0-1 year with an Associate degree
  • Experience with disability and/or absence management is a plus
