Job Summary

A company is looking for a Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a workload of Long Term Disability claims independently, following established procedures and guidelines
  • Conduct interviews with claimants and collaborate with various professionals to make timely and ethical claim determinations
  • Review complex medical records and provide exceptional customer service while identifying customer needs
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED, or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience
  • 3-5 years of claims experience directly related to the role, or 0-1 year for candidates with an Associate degree
  • Experience with disability and/or absence management is a plus
