Job Summary

Evaluating and managing long-term disability claims, the full-time Long Term Disability Claims Specialist II will make timely and accurate claim decisions while delivering a supportive customer experience in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and management of moderately complex long-term disability claims, using independent judgment for timely decision-making
• Create clear and detailed claim documentation that reflects policy provisions and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate communication with claimants and various stakeholders to gather necessary information for sound claim outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Critical thinking and sound judgment in assessing complex claim situations
• Strong communication and customer service skills for effective interaction with internal and external partners
