Loss Analysis Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Recovery & Loss Analysis Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial reconciliation on liquidated loans and identify recovery opportunities
• Analyze data elements to provide evidentiary support for loss decisions and communicate findings to external investors
• Research incurred losses and stay updated on relevant guidelines and industry standards

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate/Bachelor Degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Two or more years of mortgage servicing experience in default-related areas
• Previous experience with FHA, VA, USDA, and PMI claims preferred
• Strong accounting background with the ability to complete financial reconciliations
• Moderate computer skills with MS Word and Excel
