Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Analysis Business Analyst to assist in identifying and minimizing loan losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate loan losses and perform root cause analysis
- Monitor agency timelines and track regulatory changes related to defaults
- Compile and analyze data to create detailed summary reports and identify reimbursement opportunities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; further education or relevant experience preferred
- Experience with the Default lifecycle and Default Claims process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with investor claims systems
- Ability to analyze and interpret business and technical documents
- Strong mathematical skills for financial reconciliation and reporting
