Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Loss Mitigation Document Specialist will manage the intake review of loss mitigation options for various loan types, assist with document processing, and ensure compliance with established timelines and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and upload incoming documents from borrowers into the electronic document management system (EDMS)
- Communicate with various teams regarding file statuses and issue letters to borrowers about required documentation
- Maintain accurate records and track document submissions to support the underwriting process
Required qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Loss Mitigation Document Specialist or related role
- Some college education or an Associate's Degree preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat, with knowledge of various file formats
- Familiarity with mortgage and financial documents
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
