Loss Mitigation Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Experienced Paralegal - Loss Mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between attorneys, borrowers, loan servicers, and other stakeholders during the settlement process
• Coordinate settlement discussions for loss mitigation programs, identifying viable resolutions
• Monitor and manage critical deadlines across the loss mitigation and foreclosure process

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal or mortgage servicing environment, preferably in loss mitigation or foreclosure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong working knowledge of CaseAware or other case management platforms
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing loss mitigation
