Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of delinquent loans, the full-time Loss Mitigation Specialist will serve as the single point of contact for assigned accounts, conduct customer communications, and analyze financial information to recommend workout solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent loans and contact customers weekly
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls with customers and authorized parties regarding loss mitigation options
- Recommend and process workout solutions such as loan modifications and forbearance plans
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience in mortgage servicing or loss mitigation
- Experience with GSE (FHLMC/FNMA) strongly preferred
