Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of delinquent loans, the full-time Loss Mitigation Specialist will serve as the single point of contact for assigned accounts, conducting calls with customers and analyzing financial information to recommend workout solutions, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent loans and contact customers weekly
- Analyze financial information to determine eligibility for loss mitigation options and recommend solutions
- Maintain compliance with investor, legal, and company guidelines while meeting monthly performance goals
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience in mortgage servicing or loss mitigation
- Experience with GSE (FHLMC/FNMA) strongly preferred
