Job Summary
Managing the Loss Mitigation department, the full-time salaried Loss Mitigation Supervisor will oversee workflow, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide training and performance evaluations for staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervises daily operations of the Loss Mitigation department to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Reviews loss mitigation transactions for accuracy and quality, providing process improvements as needed
- Conducts staff development activities, including performance evaluations, training, and addressing employee issues
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in a Collections/Loss Mitigation role, preferably in Financial Services
- Ability to interpret business documents and governmental regulations
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating figures and amounts
- Experience in managing staff and conducting performance appraisals
