Loss Mitigation Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Underwriter I.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit loan modification workups and understand investor's waterfall and required documents
• Communicate with customers and negotiate short sale settlements while managing account portfolios
• Review financial documents and determine suitable repayment options for customers

Required Qualifications

• A combined 3 years of higher education and/or experience, including 1 year in collections or underwriting
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Excellent customer service skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
