A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and evaluate loss-mitigation applications including forbearance, repayment, deferrals, and modifications
• Analyze borrower financials and determine compliant workout options based on investor guidelines
• Coordinate with internal teams and maintain compliance with regulatory and investor deadlines

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage underwriting or loss-mitigation experience required
• Proficiency in Excel is essential
• Knowledge of mortgage documents and compliance regulations
• Highly organized and capable of meeting deadlines
• Bilingual preferred
