Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Loss Mitigation Underwriter II will underwrite loss mitigation applications, ensuring compliance with Treasury, Company, and Investor guidelines while making sound underwriting decisions on moderately complex files.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough analysis to ensure loan quality and compliance with relevant guidelines
• Conduct Verification of Income (VOI) and calculate debt-to-income ratios
• Document final decisions and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two to three years of underwriting or loss mitigation experience
