Job Summary
Under general supervision, the full-time Loss Mitigation Underwriter II will analyze and underwrite loss mitigation applications in compliance with Treasury, Company, and Investor guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform thorough analyses to ensure loan quality and compliance with relevant guidelines
- Conduct Verification of Income (VOI) and calculate debt-to-income ratios
- Document final underwriting decisions and maintain compliance with all regulations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two to three years of underwriting or loss mitigation experience
