Job Summary
Representing the Louisiana Department of Health, the full-time Louisiana Appeals Coordinator will manage appeal hearings by preparing summaries of evidence, monitoring deadlines, and collaborating with internal departments, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review decision letters and prepare summary of evidence files for appeal hearings
- Monitor deadlines to ensure timely submission of appeal documentation
- Conduct appeal hearings over the phone with the Division of Administrative Law
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health and human services, social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field
- Desire to work with the public and assist adults in need
- Louisiana residency
