Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the patient and provider throughout the patient visit
• Ensures the patient and provider are prepared for the visit and answers any questions prior to leaving
• Completes appropriate documentation and maintains required clinical knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred
• Experience working with and maintaining confidential information in a fast-paced environment
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws related to healthcare compliance
