Job Summary
Providing virtual adaptive physical education services, the full-time Louisiana Licensed Adaptive PE Teacher will conduct evaluations, develop individualized goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support special education students in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct adaptive physical education evaluations and prepare reports for IEP teams
- Provide direct adaptive physical education services in accordance with IEP requirements
- Consult with families, educators, and therapists to recommend modifications and accommodations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing Adaptive Physical Education services to students with disabilities
- Valid teaching certificate and Louisiana Department of Education Adapted Physical Education Endorsement
- Experience conducting evaluations and participating in the IEP process
- Ability to maintain all required credentials throughout the contract duration
