Louisiana Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Coordinate A/R, A/P, and payroll activities while maintaining internal controls
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial audits while collaborating cross-functionally

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance-related field (required)
• Licensed CPA or CPA-eligible (strongly preferred)
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience in professional services or multi-location operations is strongly preferred
• Strong command of US GAAP and ASC 606
