Job Summary

Seeking a Louisiana Licensed Child Psychiatrist, this part-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based treatment through virtual sessions, focusing on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and family-centered care.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques and medication management for various mental health conditions
• Engage families in the treatment process and provide guidance on mental health issues

Required qualifications:

• Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
• Experience providing telehealth therapy services preferred
• Proficiency with computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets)
• Demonstrated skills in family engagement and experience working with children and adolescents
• Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care practices
