Job Summary

To support advanced practice providers, the part-time Collaborating Physician will provide clinical oversight and support, ensuring high-quality patient care through chart reviews and compliance with state regulations in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the designated collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
• Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure quality and compliance
• Participate in meetings with NPs/PAs to discuss clinical performance and care standards

Required qualifications

• Current, active license in Louisiana (MD/DO)
• 3+ years of clinical experience post residency
• Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Active practice in the state and not enrolled in the Medicare Opt-Out program
