Job Summary

Offering a flexible remote opportunity, a Louisiana Licensed Optometrist will examine patients using patented tele-optometry technology, communicate through specialized video conferencing, and analyze eye health while generating prescriptions for eyewear.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients remotely in compliance with state licensing requirements
• Utilize video conference technology to communicate effectively with patients
• Collaborate with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze eye health and prescribe eyewear

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Active Louisiana state optometry license
• Experience with telemedicine or remote patient care is preferred
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Ability to work as an Independent Contractor
