Job Summary
Supporting pharmacy operations remotely, the full-time Louisiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician will perform medication history, manage specialty medications, and coordinate with patients and healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform medication history, procurement, and inventory management while supporting nuclear pharmacy services and Patient Assistance Programs (PAP)
- Manage specialty medications through prior authorizations and financial assistance coordination
- Coordinate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams while navigating multiple virtual platforms
Required qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association, with relevant state licensure
- High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable job-specific experience
- 1+ year of experience with Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), grants, and foundations
- 1+ year of experience in prior authorization, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or financial assistance
