Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time contractor Louisiana Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct virtual assessments, prescribe and monitor medications, and collaborate with therapists to provide comprehensive mental health care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments and develop medication management plans for clients
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with licensed therapists to ensure integrated care and provide education to clients and families
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health
- Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification
- Minimum of 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health
- Experience with telehealth platforms for virtual patient consultations
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
