Job Summary
Dedicated to improving the lives of youth with Autism, the full-time Remote Louisiana Licensed Psychologist Reviewer will authorize, direct, and monitor behavioral health care while conducting peer reviews and interacting with network practitioners.
Key responsibilities
- Authorize and monitor care for behavioral health and substance abuse issues based on clinical information
- Conduct peer reviews with psychologists and behavioral health therapists for outpatient services and psychological testing requests
- Provide education to network practitioners on best practice models and utilization management processes
Required qualifications
- PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Health
- Active Louisiana Psychologist Unrestricted License (PhD or PsyD) upon hire
- Working knowledge of psychological tests, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based practices, particularly for Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred
