Job Summary

To support the Centralized Underwriting team, the full-time Louisiana Licensed Underwriter will analyze borrowers' creditworthiness, prepare loan presentations, and approve loan requests while working remotely from Baton Rouge, LA.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and assess risk to prepare loan approval documents
• Mentor junior underwriting staff and provide support for community engagement activities
• Conduct ongoing credit servicing and ensure compliance with regulations and policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Four to seven years of business banking, SBA, underwriting, or portfolio management experience
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Word and Excel
• Master's of Business Administration is preferred
