LPN Licensed Healthcare Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Utilization Management Intake Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Support coordination of medical services including utilization management intake and requesting medical records
• Generate UM letters for members and providers when authorizations are not required
• Maintain accurate documentation of required information while protecting member confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
• Current unrestricted LPN license or certified Medical Assistant designation preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare-related field, preferably in a hospital, medical office, or health insurance company
• Experience with medical terminology and concepts used in the healthcare delivery system is required
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office products and advanced technical skills
