LTL Operations Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing Less-Than-Truckload team, the remote LTL Operations Specialist will manage day-to-day operations for a dedicated group of offices and customers, providing operational support and ensuring efficient shipment processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily LTL operations, serving as a resource for agents, customers, and carriers
- Monitor shipments and proactively assist with issues such as delays and misrouted freight
- Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments while maintaining accurate shipment records
Required qualifications
- Transportation or logistics experience, preferably in LTL transportation or freight brokerage
- Proficiency with transportation management systems and standard business applications
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Strong understanding of freight classification, NMFC, and carrier rules tariffs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience preferred
