Luxembourg Licensed Risk Compliance Head

Job Summary

As a key leadership position, the full-time Luxembourg Licensed Risk Compliance Head will oversee the establishment of compliance and risk management frameworks, lead efforts to obtain an EMI licence, and act as an Authorised Manager, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the effort to obtain an EMI licence in Luxembourg and represent the organization in regulatory discussions
• Design and manage AML/CTF and risk management programmes, ensuring compliance with CSSF regulations
• Provide oversight of regulatory obligations and coordinate responses to internal audits and regulatory findings

Required qualifications

• Significant senior compliance leadership experience within an EU-regulated financial institution, preferably in payments/e-money
• Deep knowledge of CSSF regulatory expectations and local AML/CTF functions
• Proven track record of engaging with the CSSF during licensing and post-authorisation stages
• Experience in building and scaling risk and compliance programmes for high-growth products
• Prior CSSF fit and proper approval or ability to meet such expectations for an Authorised Manager
